We created our field of medical technology with the idea to develop a resuscitation device which can be used by the first responder as well as emergency medical services. The demands on the first responder are somewhat different than on paramedics. First responders are often forced to help by themselves for a longer period of time, and often under difficult circumstances. In addition, one cannot assume that voluntary medical assistants are capable of offering all medical possibilities such as intubation, etc. The easy and efficient handling of both products—the resuscitation device animax and its self-adhesive mask spiro-set—make them particularly suitable for semi-professional assistants and at the same time they prove to be an excellent aid for professionals. The animax is a resuscitation device; it can save lives, but there is no guarantee for that.
