The newly developed climbing system of the s-max makes the handling of which easy for the operator. Due to the small load alterations little physical power on the part of the operator is necessary. The solid grips with their ergonomic control elements can be quickly adjusted to the operator's height. The s-max features a single-step-switch to drive comfortably, cautiously, and safely up and down stairs.

The device is suitable for all surfaces and it does not damage in any way the edges of steps. The safety brakes stop automatically and reliably on each edge of a step. With its long-lasting and maintenance-free batteries the s-max climbs up to 300 steps with one battery charge. The battery pack can be charged remaining on the s-max, but you can also remove it for charging. The charger is part of the delivery package and suitable for currents between 110 Volt up to 240 Volt. A charging cable for the car is an optional accessory. You can charge the batteries while you drive with this charging cable plugged into the cigarette lighter.

To climb stairs safely even in badly lit conditions or gloomy light we equipped the s-max with LEDs. They light up the steps and facilitate safe climbing considerably.
